Marlins 2026 Season.

All 162 games, real-time coverage and player storytelling from Opening Day on.

Marlins players celebrating a walk-off win

The approach.

A full 162-game season told in real time, with a voice that could flip from heartfelt to hilarious in the same night. We moved fast on the new ABS challenge system, turned late-inning rallies into appointment content, honored milestone moments like Tommy Hutton’s final broadcast, and let the account’s personality loose with memes built for the timeline. The result: a Marlins feed fans came back to every day, win or lose.

The season.

From Opening Day to the final out, chapter by chapter.

Chapter 01

Marlins at the Classic.

Before Opening Day, the season started on the world stage. With Marlins representing the Dominican Republic, Italy and Venezuela at the World Baseball Classic, we followed our guys through every round, from starter announcements to the semifinals to a champion’s medal coming home to camp, keeping fans connected to the roster before a single regular-season pitch.

Chapter 02

Opening Day.

Opening Day is the biggest day on the calendar, and for a social team it’s the one you have to master. Every eye in the fan base is on the account, so the plan starts weeks out: the tease, the arrival, the first pitch and the moments in between. We told the story from an empty, sunlit ballpark to a packed first pitch, setting the tone for all 162.

Chapter 03

The Teal Launch.

Teal is the color of the original 1993 Florida Marlins, and in 2026 it finally took the field: the first time in franchise history a teal jersey was worn in a regular-season game. With the new throwbacks set for every home Sunday, we built the debut weekend around nostalgia and detail, from close-ups of the Florida Marlins legacy patch to players stepping out in teal for the first time.

Chapter 04

All-Star Voting.

All-Star voting turns the account into a campaign. We gave the 2026 ballot its own look, bold red, white and blue with a gothic script, rallied fans behind the full Marlins lineup, then went all in on Otto Lopez as he led the majors in hits and batting average.

Chapter 05

Players’ Weekend.

Players’ Weekend is about who the guys are off the field, so we built the Marlins Multiverse: custom comic-book covers that turned players into the characters behind their nicknames, from Agent-X and Sandman to Baseball Slayer and Mack the Clasher. Then we carried the story onto the field, spotlighting the custom gear players wore with personality to match.

Chapter 06

Closing Day.

The season ended where it began, with Sandy Alcantara on the mound. He threw the Marlins’ first pitch of 2026 on Opening Day and the last one on Fan Appreciation Day, and we framed it as a bookend: two dates, one ace. The Fish sent fans home with a win in teal, closing the year on the same note the account struck all season.
